How much of your life is your screen?

Type your daily hours. The sum runs in your browser and nothing leaves it. No account, no cookies.

Open Settings, then Digital Wellbeing, to find your real number. "Plan to age" is an assumption you can change, not a prediction.

What else the time could hold

Move a day somewhere else:

Assumptions: about 5 hours for an average book, 2 hours for a film, 30 minutes for a walk. Your pace will differ. The time is not owed to anything; this is just the arithmetic.

    How the numbers work

Days a year is hours a day times 365, divided by 24. Years over a lifetime is hours a day times 365 times the years between your age and the plan age, divided by 24 and by 365. Share of waking hours is hours divided by 16. These are plain sums, not studies. For published averages with sources, see average screen time by age.

A big number is not a verdict. Plenty of phone time is work, maps, calls and people you love. The useful question is how much of it you chose.
